Three whole worlds that were cut short. Animals were their greatest love, and the truest way to honor their memory is to continue this love. On this day, we will tell their stories, and give new stories a chance to be written. In honor of Good Deeds Day 2025, we will go out together with the students of the “Rodman” youth brigade and the educational team to clean up the beaches of Kiryat Yam, in memory of Israel’s fallen soldiers and in particular in memory of Ido Aviv, Shani Gabay, Oshri Botshak, Netanel Alkobi, Omri Michaeli and Idan Raz. After the activity, we will gather for a moving circle of remembrance in their honor, together with the families, and dedicate a moment of respect, remembrance and inspiration to them.

As part of our choice to continue Shani’s path, we invite you to celebrate her birthday with us in the place where she had a home – the ‘Drama’ club. Here Shani worked, spent time, met close friends and spread her light in every corner. With pain and deep longing that cannot be described, we remember the best friend of all of us who was a huge inspiration for us, Shani Gabay. Shani, who dreamed of fulfilling all her wishes and broke new ground, continues to accompany us every moment, smiling at us with her warm and moving smile, from somewhere, from the half moon. On 10/10/2024, Thursday, at 4:00 p.m., We will go to her grave to mark 11 months of our angel’s reign. After that, we will have a “minachah” prayer In the Hichal Israel synagogue at 17:40 and evening prayer at 6:30 p.m. Between the prayers, we will devote moments to shared memories in our home, And we will finish with a mitzvah meal in her memory. Shani, you are always with us, in our hearts and memories.

Shani invested her whole heart and soul for the rights of animals and dogs, she worked a lot for their benefit, was a regular volunteer in various associations, and helped dozens of abandoned dogs to reach a safe place and find a warm and loving home. Shani believed that the rights of animals are no less than the rights of humans and that it is our duty to take care of them, nurture them and give them a comfortable and happy life. Shani raised many dogs throughout her life, gave them a home and dedicated care and left behind her beloved dog Alpha, with whom she used to come to this garden every day. In this magical place, the dogs will be able to run and play, be happy and enjoy a happy life in the name and in memory of our Shani.
